Privacy Policy

Hesselbom Tech built the Watchletic app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Hesselbom Tech and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if they decide to use our Service.

Information Collection and Use

Watchletic collects and stores data needed to provide the app's features. This may include account identifiers, app settings, workouts, and other information you choose to provide. This data may be stored on Watchletic servers.

When you record or import a workout, Watchletic may process health and fitness information such as workout type, duration, distance, heart rate, and other workout measurements. If you enable location access, Watchletic may also process precise location and route information to record location-based workouts. Location and health permissions are optional and can be managed in your device settings.

With your permission, workout and health information may be read from or written to Apple Health and Activity or Android Health Connect. Watchletic uses health and fitness information only to provide health and fitness features requested by you, and not for advertising. Information stored by Apple Health or Health Connect is also subject to the controls and retention settings of those platforms.

Watchletic uses the following service providers:

• PostHog for analytics, including app usage and interaction information, to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics, which may process error details, device and app information, and technical identifiers.
• AppsFlyer for install attribution and measuring marketing effectiveness, which may process device identifiers, attribution information, and app event information.
• RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, subscription status, and related purchase information.

These providers process information on our behalf for the purposes described above. Workout information may be stored within the app, on Watchletic servers, and in Apple Health or Health Connect when you enable those integrations. It may also be sent to another service when you specifically choose to export it.

Data Retention

We retain account information, app settings, workouts, and other information stored on Watchletic servers for as long as your Watchletic account remains active or as needed to provide the Service.

We verify the request and delete your Watchletic account and associated personal data from our active systems within 3 days of receiving your account deletion request email. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before they are permanently overwritten or deleted.

We may retain limited information for longer when required by law or when necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, protect the security of the Service, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. We retain such information only for as long as necessary for those purposes. Information processed by service providers may also be subject to their applicable retention obligations and policies.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your Watchletic account and associated personal data, email viktor@watchletic.com and state that you are requesting data deletion. You must include your Watchletic user ID, which you can find at the bottom of the Settings tab in the app. We will use the information in your request only to verify your identity and process the deletion. We will verify the request and delete the account and associated personal data from active systems within 3 days of receiving your email. Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 30 days, as explained in the Data Retention section above.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
